About

The Not Perfect Clothing Brand started when two University of Akron students Willie Harper & Thomas McFarland began brainstorming in the University’s Bierce library during the spring of 2011 semester. The two bounced off ideas between classes thinking about how to launch a successful clothing brand. The two sketched designs until the “Akron Heat” design came about (It was play-off time and the two are huge LeBron supporters so the idea was only right). The two got the t-shirt printed and wore it around Akron. After catching on quickly the  shirt was sold publicly & shirts sold out around Akron. Over 5000 "Akron Heat" shirts were sold in that summer. Today with thousands of items in circulation and growing, the brand still stays true to it's exclusive releases and limited selection.
